Hermosa

The reliefs of the Chorotega area include the mountains of the Guanacaste volcano, the Tempeque plain, the Nicoya hills, and the coastal plain. Guanacaste is the name of the country's national tree (Enterolobium cyclocarpum).

Its terrain is flat, from the rugged Cordillera de Guanacaste (Guanacaste Mountain Range) to the limit of Alajuela (Alajuela), from 500 to 1000 meters above sea level, and on the Nicoya Peninsula (Península de Nicoya). It has some highlands. In its political branch, there are 11 states.

Guanacaste's economic potential lies in animal husbandry and tourism due to its beautiful beaches and pleasant climate.

The beaches of Guanacaste, in addition to being an extraordinary setting for the sunset, are also very popular in Costa Rica, including Playa Hermosa, Playas del Coco, Tamarindo, Langosta and Avellana.
